Konkan Fusion was born during the lockdown from a very simple thought — why has the food we grew up eating become so difficult to find today?
During that period, families became much more conscious about what they were eating. People wanted healthier and cleaner food alternatives, yet finding genuinely traditional food with reliable quality and regular availability was not always easy.
That made us look back at our own family.
For generations, our families in Konkan prepared food using simple ingredients, time-tested recipes and traditional methods. The taste did not come from artificial colours, flavours or synthetic taste enhancers. It came from the quality of the ingredients and the way the food was prepared.
Many of the recipes and formulations we use today came from that same family knowledge, with valuable guidance from our mother.
We therefore decided not to reinvent Konkani food.
We decided to preserve it and make it accessible again.
Our ingredients and products are sourced primarily from Konkan, Sindhudurg and nearby farms. We manufacture our own signature products and source selected traditional products from producers we know and trust.
One of our most loved creations is our Chulivar Bhajlela Khara Kaju — roasted salted cashews prepared using our unique traditional recipe that gives them a distinctive flavour and subtle smoky character. For many customers, that first bite brings back memories of the food they enjoyed during childhood.
The name Konkan Fusion represents what we are trying to achieve.
It is not fusion food.
It is a fusion of traditional Konkan recipes and modern airtight packaging. We want to retain the authenticity of the product while making it practical and convenient for today's families.
Our signature range is made without artificial colours, artificial flavours, added preservatives, MSG, unnecessary fillers or synthetic taste enhancers.
Today, 500+ customers regularly enjoy Konkan Fusion products.
But we believe this is only the beginning.
Our mission is to bring cleaner, authentic and traditionally rooted food to more than 10,000 families.
Because some flavours should not disappear with time.
They should be passed on.
