This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) explains how products purchased on the Kokan Bajar platform (“Platform”) are processed, shipped, and delivered. By placing an order, Customers agree to the terms of this Policy.
1.1 As Kokan Bajar operates as a multivendor marketplace, shipping and delivery of products are the sole responsibility of the respective Vendor from whom the product has been purchased.
1.2 Kokan Bajar acts only as a facilitator of transactions and is not the seller, packager, or shipper of goods, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2.1 Vendors may ship products directly using their own logistics partners or local courier services.
2.2 In the future, Kokan Bajar may integrate with third-party logistics providers (such as Shiprocket) to offer Vendors and Customers additional delivery options.
2.3 Shipping methods and timelines may vary depending on:
3.1 Standard delivery timelines are 5–10 business days from the date of order confirmation, unless otherwise specified by the Vendor.
3.2 Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond Vendor or Platform control, including but not limited to: courier delays, transportation strikes, natural calamities, or public holidays.
3.3 Vendors are required to make reasonable efforts to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
4.1 Shipping charges, if applicable, shall be displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
4.2 Vendors may offer free shipping or promotional discounts on delivery at their discretion.
4.3 In cases of product returns (as per the Return Policy), return shipping costs shall be borne by the Vendor.
5.1 Customers must provide accurate and complete shipping details, including name, address, contact number, and pin code.
5.2 Delivery will be made to the address provided at the time of order. Any changes after order confirmation may not be accommodated.
5.3 Customers must ensure availability at the designated delivery address to receive the product. If a delivery attempt fails due to Customer unavailability or incorrect details, re-delivery charges may apply.
6.1 Vendors or their logistics partners may require a signature, OTP confirmation, or delivery acknowledgment from the Customer at the time of product handover.
6.2 Once the product is delivered and confirmed, Kokan Bajar and the Vendor shall not be liable for any subsequent loss, theft, or damage.
7.1 In case of delayed shipments, Customers may contact the Vendor directly or raise a query through Kokan Bajar Support for assistance.
7.2 If delivery cannot be completed due to reasons attributable to the Vendor, the order may be canceled, and a refund processed as per the Refund Policy.
8.1 Delivery may not be available in certain remote, restricted, or high-risk locations.
8.2 Customers shall be informed during checkout if delivery is not feasible to their pin code.
Currently, Kokan Bajar operates only within India. International shipping is not supported.
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
