Taak Mirchi (Curd Chillies) is a traditional Konkani and Maharashtrian delicacy. Fresh green chillies are soaked overnight in a mixture of buttermilk (or curd) and salt, then sun-dried until all the liquid is absorbed. Before serving, they are shallow-fried or roasted to a perfect crisp.
